Removing The Fence Line
In 1929, Philosopher G. K. Chesterton came up with what is known as “the fence†truth that teaches if you are walking somewhere and you come across a fence, you probably shouldn’t tear it down because you don’t know what it keeps in or out. If there’s a fence at the top of a steep cliff, we can figure out why it was put there, and it would be foolish to pull it down.
As you may know, June is sexual pride month in our country. The pride movement is a sexual scheme to open the minds of vulnerable people (mostly youth) and persuaded at least two generation of Americans that removing the fence line of sexuality is a good move. And over 25 years later, the results have left us with plenty of creatures coming out to play now.
Jordan Peterson said concerning this movement, “All of it is a lie, and it’s a dangerous lie, and a lie with real monsters hovering on the edges.â€
Interestingly, this movement is called “pride†and if I know my Bible, pride is a very demented trait in a human being and a very dangerous trial to walk. Pride is the central sin that has caused more damage to the hearts of men and angels. Pride is stubbornness that creates a behavior that says I refuse to change when the evidence shows that there is danger and self-destruction ahead. In America, we need to be very careful because the removal of the sexual fence line has turned pride into a virtue.
The removal of this fence line has opened up disaster in the minds of many. We’ve gone from homosexuality all the way to transgenderism. In all of this so-called “sexual progress†we have only blurred the lines of decency and morality concerning God's gift of sexuality.
Pride in our country has now lead almost the majority of Americans to affirm demonic gender manipulation. This is the ultimate pride in the heart because now a man or a woman determines their own gender. So I guess we don’t need God for that anymore! This is the slippery slope that is taking Americans down a frighting journey all because of the removal of one fence line!
The ACLU proudly declared last week, “There’s no one way to be a man. Men who get their periods are men. Men who get pregnant and give birth are men.†But now we have a problem because biology proves that this statement is a lie! Sorry ACLU, those individuals are women. Period!
The cult of gender confusion is everywhere now! And children are the main target. Kids used to be told, “say no to drugsâ€, but now parents let them say “yes†to dangerous drugs and surgeries that increase anxiety and suicide risk.
Lupron, the leading prescribed puberty blocker that contains a long list of physical and psychological side effects: “The most commonly reported side effects are hot flashes or sweats, gastrointestinal disorders…emotional lability or depression, respiratory disorders, urinary disorders…and severe pain.†Planned Parenthood lies with its claims that, “gender is your choice.†The American College of Pediatricians has written that, “transgender interventions harm children.†I think we should call it child abuse!
Romans 1:26-27 is a stark warning to us concerning the removal of sexual fence lines. As Paul warns, “For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.â€
Let’s refuse to take pride in distorting the word of God! Our country needs to stop abusing itself by promoting abortion, homosexuality, and celebrating gender mutilation.
As a church, let’s love people who are drowning in a sea demented practices, who have badly broken bodies, and minds filled with anxiety. Yes, America in the last 25 years has successfully removed the fence line of sexuality, so now it’s up to us, God’s church, to throw out the life line of truth that leads to Jesus Christ who died for our sins!
