Let's Grow Up Before We Go Up

Eventually every child gets asked this question by parents, grandparents, and friends, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” That comes with an assumption that you will grow up and that you will mature. With God our heavenly Father, it’s no different. When we are born into the family of God we come just as we are, but then God expects us to grow in the Spirit. And one of the greatest indicators of spiritual maturity in our prayer life. I know his prayers reached heaven because they began in heaven. God wants us to be growing up in our going up.
