The Gift of Encouragement

Have you ever been discouraged? Or I should really ask – when was the last time you were discouraged? We’ve all walked through discouragement’s valley, we’ve all felt locked in discouragement’s dungeon, we’ve all been surrounded by discouragement’s depression! We can put on the happy a face and just try to plow through life, but discouragement just seems to follow us like a dog with flees. 

These 5 instances are found in the life of Barnabas – a man who modeled encouragement and it’s fair to say that he made one of the most important contributions to the 1st century church. And we are going to learn from him.
